1. HAW RIDGE PARK

With over 30 miles of single track dirt roads, you’ll enjoy visiting Haw Ridge Park. Sometimes mountain bike races are held at this park, which is perfect if you want to start competing! You’ll be able to ride through the woods and see the beauty of the trees, wildflowers, and small creatures you’ll come across. Clinch River runs throughout the park, so you can also ride past it for a different scenic view. To further accommodate riders, the wooded trails include bike bridges for smooth rides. 2. NORRIS DAM STATE PARK

Norris Dam State Park has over 4,000 acres visitors can enjoy for a variety of outdoor activities. The Andrews Ridge Trail passes through the forest and has a variety of terrain to ride over. Other wooded trails in the park include Camp Sam, Chuckmore, Elkins, Highpoint Spur, Rock Creek, and Sinkhole. Lake View Trail goes through the woods as well, but you’re right along the waterline, creating a serene bike ride. Marine Railway Loop Trail also rides past Norris Lake. You’ll find so many trails you’ll want to try, you’ll have to keep coming back to Norris Dam State Park!

3. NORRIS WATERSHED

Next to Norris Dam State Park is the Norris Watershed with over 20 miles of hiking and biking trails. You’ll find single track trails, double track trails, and even gravel trails you can bike on. Ride through the trees and beside streams, seeing the beauty of nature as you ride your bike. You might even spot a waterfall while you’re riding!

4. WINDROCK BIKE PARK

If you’re looking for a place to ride that’s considered extreme, then Windrock Bike Park is the place for you. You won’t find any paved biking trails here — everything is rocky and considered off road. For the biking adventurers, you’ll love the trails at Windrock! They also have cross-country trails near the campground if you’re not feeling quite as adventurous. Biking trails include wood bridges for added levels of fun. Their trails definitely define off-road biking!

5. NORTH BOUNDARY GREENWAY

The North Boundary Greenway has 15 miles of multi-use gravel and dirt roads you can bike on. This area isn’t as heavily trafficked as a park, giving you some privacy and space. The trails at this greenway are considered moderate with some steep hills. You’ll enjoy riding the trails at the North Boundary Greenway, whether you’re alone or with a group.
