1. ATV/OFF-ROAD ADVENTURES

Windrock Park is known for its off-road excitement. The trails accommodate all types of vehicles, from ATVs and side-by-sides, to dirt bikes and mountain bikes, to Jeeps and trucks! Some of the trails in the park are restricted to ATV and dirt bike use only. When you hop on an ATV at Windrock Park, you’re guaranteed to have an exciting ride. The trails range from gravel roads, to extreme mountainous terrain. If you want a calmer ATV ride through the park, try one of the gravel or hard-packed clay trails. If you want an adrenaline-pumping ATV ride, choose one of the difficult trails with tougher hill climbs, rocks and mud. No matter what you choose for your ride, one thing is for sure: You’re in for the adventure of a lifetime.

2. HIKING

Windrock Park has more than 72,000 acres you can explore. You can spend hours at the park taking in the sights and enjoying the fresh air. Take a leisurely stroll along one of many trails, and admire the beautiful views that await you around every corner. There is even a 1.9-mile nature trail you can hike that provides a great opportunity to see the gorgeous scenery in the park. Hiking at Windrock Park is a great way to get exercise, stay healthy and enjoy the great outdoors!

3. MOUNTAIN BIKING

One of the most popular things to do in Windrock Park is to go mountain biking. The park has East Tennessee’s best downhill mountain bike course! The downhill trails are aggressive and rated difficult to extreme, meaning they are geared more toward expert riders. There are steep, rocky descents for you to try, some with natural and man-made drops and jumps.

4. CAMPING

Windrock Park has its very own campground! Windrock Park Campground is located on 259 acres with picture-perfect views of the mountains.
