SUMMARY:Norris Day July 4th Celebration
DESCRIPTION:The Norris Lions Club brings you the 56th Annual Norris Day celebration in downtown Norris. Running enthusiasts can begin the day with the Firecracker Fun Run. Later the children’s Dog Show will be held on the Norris Commons\, followed by the one-mile Fun Run. No one will want to miss the children’s Wheel Race\, the Bicycle Parade\, the Water Balloon Toss or the Water-Ball Battles. There will be sack races and duck races\, too. One of the highlights of Norris Day is the wonderful barbeque dinner–barbeque pork and chicken with all the sides served by the Norris Lions Club in the Norris Middle School cafeteria from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Norris Day will conclude with a fireworks show at 9:30 pm. \nSchedule of events: \n8:30 am – Register for the Kids Dog Show\n9:00 am – Posting of Colors\n9:10 am – Kids Dog Show Begins\n9:30 am – Sack Races\n10:00 am – Duck Races\n10:00 am – 2:00 pm – Inflatables\n10:00 am – 3:00 pm – Water Slide\n10:30 am – Decorated Bicycle Parades\n11:15 am – Many-Wheel Races\n12:15 pm – Water Balloon Toss\n3:00 pm – Water-Ball Battles\n5:30 pm – Evening Program at Pavilion\n7:00 pm – Concert on the Commons\n9:30 pm – Fireworks
