DESCRIPTION:Experience the creative spirit of East Tennessee at Appalachian Arts Craft Center’s next Meet the Artist gallery show\, featuring the work of painter and woodcarver Sabrina Peterson. From July 1st to 27th\, Sabrina’s imaginative\, nature-inspired art that blends Appalachian tradition with a touch of whimsy and nostalgia will be on display at the center. \nA special artist reception will be held on Saturday\, July 19\, from 12:00 to 1:30 PM. Guests are invited to meet Sabrina\, ask questions about her artistic process\, and enjoy light refreshments. DESCRIPTION:Adventure Awaits at Junior Ranger Camp! 🌲🦉 \nCalling all young explorers! Junior Ranger Camp at Norris Dam State Park is the ultimate outdoor adventure for kids ages 9–12. Campers will dive into hands-on learning about wildlife\, plants\, park history\, wilderness safety\, and more — all while hiking\, discovering\, and having a blast in the great outdoors! \nThis exciting day camp runs from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Monday\, Tuesday\, and Wednesday\, with a special evening program on Thursday.
