Uncle Sam & Norris Dam Living History Event

Journey into the ruins of CCC Camp Kinchen and see it brought to life as park staff and volunteers live and work just as CCC enrollees did almost 90 years ago. There will be programs ongoing throughout the day from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM about the history and legacy of the Civilian Conservation Corps enrollees who built Norris Dam State Park and changed the landscape of the nation.

Parking is available at the TVA paviliion parking lot across from Powerhouse Rd. on Highway 441, or you may hike down from the Tea Room via the Camp Sam trail.
