NORRIS MUSEUM

The Norris Museum, located in a wing of the McNeeley Municipal Building at One Norris Square, acts as headquarters for the Norris Historical Society. It opened on June 1, 1999 which coincided with the 50th anniversary of the incorporation of Norris. Staffed by volunteer Docents, the museum is open on Tuesday and Sunday afternoons from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., and other times by prior arrangement. It houses a growing array of exhibits, books and photographs showcasing the construction of Norris Dam, early days of the town, past and present photos of original Norris houses, and photos of the people who help make Norris so great.
