Enjoy Lunch – Also in Historic Downtown Clinton, you will find Hoskins Drug Store, an authentic 1940’s soda fountain that has a full menu complete with award-winning burgers and chocolate milk shakes. They also have a daily meat and two vegetable plate. Or you can enjoy a delicious, southern meal at Apple Blossom Café, located in the heart of downtown. The Café offers an extensive menu sure to please even the pickiest of eaters.

Day Two
Check out the Appalachian Arts Craft Center–Their gallery is filled with one-of-a-kind arts and crafts made by artisan’s right here in East Tennessee. Browse their huge selection of handcrafted items including pottery, woven rugs, quilts, jewelry, paintings and so much more. Their studio offers classes for beginners to master crafters and all the equipment needed for pottery, quilting and weaving is on site and ready for you.
Go across the street and explore the Museum of Appalachia. You can immerse yourself in this living history museum that depicts life in a pioneer mountain farm-village. You can spend endless hours discovering the unique stories of the people of Appalachia. In addition to the museum, you’ll want to spend some time browsing the gift shop. It is filled with unique items from artisans throughout our region. Be sure to also check out the restaurant and save room for some home-made desserts.
Head on up the road to Clinch River Brewing where you can hang out in the cozy beer garden with a delicious craft beer and creole inspired dish. It’s a great place to kick back, relax and spend some time listening to live music, playing a board game or just shooting the breeze.
