Norris Lake is one of the prime places to go fishing in Anderson County. There are more than 14 species in the lake, from striped bass to crappie to walleye. You have a variety of places you can fish from too. The shoreline is perfect for standing or sitting, and there are deep water coves for fishing in boats.

If you’re specifically wanting to catch muskie, then Melton Hill Lake is the place you want to go fishing. Muskie are popular and are some of the largest and fastest growing fish in Tennessee.
