The Oak Ridge Community Band will perform their Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 14th at the Oak Ridge Performing Arts Center. The band will feature familiar and seasonal music including favorites such as “Sleigh Ride,” “Feliz Navidad,” “Greensleeves,” “Auld Lang Syne,” “In the Bleak Midwinter,” “Polar Express,” and many other lovely tunes.
The Oak Ridge Community Band has been delighting audiences since 1944, when Oak Ridge was still a “secret city.” This all-volunteer group of musicians performs year-round, with outdoor summer concerts at Bissell Park Pavilion and indoor performances at local venues. Their diverse programs feature classical, jazz, big band, patriotic, and contemporary favorites, offering something for all ages to enjoy.
