The Oak Ridge Community Band will be performing an Independence Day Concert on July 4th at 7:30 p.m. at A.K. Bissel Park. This concert is special for the Oak Ridge Community Band, as it marks the anniversary of its very first concert, held on July 4, 1944. The program will feature patriotic tunes and more. Bring chairs or blankets for outdoor seating, and come early as this event usually draws a large crowd.

Be sure to stick around for the fireworks following the concert, which are scheduled to start at 9:45 a.m.  All activities are free.
